Shri Shatchandi Mahayagya Concludes with Grand Havan and Mahaprasad Distribution

The nine-day Shri Shatchandi Mahayagya, organized in Gandharpa Village of Nautan Block, concluded successfully with a sacred Havan (fire ritual) and the distribution of Mahaprasad among thousands of devotees.
The religious event began on 7 June 2024 with a magnificent Kalash Yatra, in which more than 5,100 young women and girls participated, carrying sacred Kalashs in a grand procession that reflected the region’s deep spiritual and cultural traditions.
According to Govind Mishra ‘Suman’, Secretary and Media Spokesperson of the Yagya Committee, the Mahayagya was organized at the call of Chandan Das Ji Maharaj (Falahari Baba) with the wholehearted support and cooperation of the local community.
Serving as the Social, Digital, and Print Media Manager for the event, software engineer and social worker Manoj Kumar Singh shared that the nine-day celebration featured a variety of religious and cultural programs, including:
Ramleela performances during the daytime
Spiritual discourses (Katha Pravachan) in the afternoon
Raasleela performances in the evening
All religious rituals and ceremonies of the Mahayagya were conducted under the guidance of Yagyacharya Manish Tiwari Ji Maharaj, in the presence of Parshuram Das, ensuring the successful completion of the sacred event in accordance with Vedic traditions.
The successful organization of the Mahayagya was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, including Gorakh Nath Singh (Event Coordinator), Purushottam Gupta (Yagya Convener), Narayan Mishra (President), Jai Prakash Singh (Vice President), and several other volunteers and community members.
The event stood as a remarkable example of faith, cultural heritage, community participation, and social unity, bringing together thousands of devotees in an atmosphere of devotion and harmony.
