Manoj Kumar Singh Highlights the Need for Better Road Connectivity in the Bihar–Uttar Pradesh Border Region

Location: Nautan Block, Siwan, Bihar

The poor condition of the road connecting Jagdishpur, Siswan Mor, and Kadirchak Koiritola has remained a major concern for residents of the Nautan region. Despite repeated appeals from villagers over the years, the route continues to suffer from inadequate infrastructure, affecting daily travel and local development.

This important road serves as a key link between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, connecting the Jagdishpur Higher Secondary School, the Nautan Block Headquarters, and surrounding villages. It also plays a significant role during elections and administrative activities, as officials regularly use this route to access polling stations and nearby areas.

Speaking on the issue, social worker Manoj Kumar Singh emphasized that reliable road infrastructure is essential for economic growth, education, healthcare access, and rural development. He called for timely action to improve connectivity and ensure that residents of border villages receive the basic infrastructure they deserve.

He noted that while portions of the road have undergone repairs in the past, several stretches remain in poor condition, causing inconvenience to students, farmers, commuters, and local businesses.

Manoj Kumar Singh reiterated his commitment to raising public issues that directly impact people’s lives and stressed that strengthening rural infrastructure should remain a priority for inclusive and sustainable development.

He believes that improved roads will not only enhance transportation but also create better opportunities for education, trade, agriculture, and employment across the region, contributing to the long-term progress of Nautan and neighboring communities.
